What is Krusada Project

A passion project that combines the Word of God with art to spark conversations about faith and purpose.

About the Project

Krusada Project is a personal passion project of a Catholic visual artist in the name of Arja Ramos, after leaving the seminary, he started the project on December 22, 2021, during the height of the Advent season, a time of preparation for the faithful to celebrate the Incarnation of Christ. Inspired by this sacred narrative, Arja drew from the profound mystery of God taking on flesh—transforming from the faceless and formless to a tangible embodiment of love in the person of Jesus Christ.

In a similar vein, this passion project seeks to merge the Word of God with visual art, giving birth to a concrete and palpable experience of the divine message which allows space for personal interpretation and reflection, sparking spiritual and meaningful conversations about the richness of the text while offering a fresh perspective.

"This customized, personally designed alphabet serves as a central element in all my art pieces.

Ever since I was a child, I've been captivated by the beauty of circles, curves, and basic lines within a controlled chaos, where each element retains its identity while contributing to the whole without disrupting the composition.

Inspired by the simple shapes of PlayStation's visual branding, the work of Aaron Dela Cruz, and key pieces by Maxime Manga, I developed this unique, personally designed alphabet.

These characters hold a special identity that connects back to the Krusada Project and its core mission—to spread the gospel."

IT'S NOT A CLOTHING BRAND!

The Krusada Project is often mistaken for a clothing brand, but it is much more than that. Clothing is just one of the many avenues the project uses to spread the Gospel. It extends across a wide variety of media, including original paintings on diverse surfaces, handmade sculptures, murals, audiovisual works, and other collectible merchandise.

The project aims to foster a safe space for spiritual growth, where conversations about the Christian faith are no longer taboo, all while appreciating the beauty of art.
